箴言 7

我兒，你要遵守我的言語， 將我的命令存記在心。

wǒ ér ， nǐ yào zūn shǒu wǒ de yán yǔ ， jiāng wǒ de mìng lìng cún jì zài xīn 。

My son, keep my words. Lay up my commandments within you.

遵守我的命令就得存活； 保守我的法則 ， 好像保守眼中的瞳人，

zūn shǒu wǒ de mìng lìng jiù dé cún huó ； bǎo shǒu wǒ de fǎ zé ， hǎo xiàng bǎo shǒu yǎn zhōng de tóng rén ，

Keep my commandments and live! Guard my teaching as the apple of your eye.

繫在你指頭上， 刻在你心版上。

xì zài nǐ zhǐ tou shàng ， kè zài nǐ xīn bǎn shàng 。

Bind them on your fingers. Write them on the tablet of your heart.

對智慧說：你是我的姊妹， 稱呼聰明為你的親人，

duì zhì huì shuō ： nǐ shì wǒ de zǐ mèi ， chēng hu cōng ming wèi nǐ de qīn rén ，

Tell wisdom, “You are my sister.” Call understanding your relative,

她就保你遠離淫婦， 遠離說諂媚話的外女。

tā jiù bǎo nǐ yuǎn lí yín fù ， yuǎn lí shuō chǎn mèi huà de wài nǚ 。

that they may keep you from the strange woman, from the foreigner who flatters with her words.

我曾在我房屋的窗戶內， 從我窗欞之間往外觀看：

wǒ céng zài wǒ fáng wū de chuāng hù nèi ， cóng wǒ chuāng líng zhī jiān wǎng wài guān kàn ：

For at the window of my house, I looked out through my lattice.

見愚蒙人內，少年人中， 分明有一個無知的少年人，

jiàn yú méng rén nèi ， shào nián rén zhōng ， fēn míng yǒu yí gè wú zhī de shào nián rén ，

I saw among the simple ones. I discerned among the youths a young man void of understanding,

從街上經過，走近淫婦的巷口， 直往通她家的路去，

cóng jiē shàng jīng guò ， zǒu jìn yín fù de xiàng kǒu ， zhí wǎng tōng tā jiā de lù qù ，

passing through the street near her corner, he went the way to her house,

在黃昏，或晚上， 或半夜，或黑暗之中。

zài huáng hūn ， huò wǎn shàng ， huò bàn yè ， huò hēi àn zhī zhōng 。

in the twilight, in the evening of the day, in the middle of the night and in the darkness.

看哪，有一個婦人來迎接他， 是妓女的打扮，有詭詐的心思。

kàn nǎ ， yǒu yí gè fù rén lái yíng jiē tā ， shì jì nǚ de dǎ bàn ， yǒu guǐ zhà de xīn sī 。

Behold, there a woman met him with the attire of a prostitute, and with crafty intent.

這婦人喧嚷，不守約束， 在家裏停不住腳，

zhè fù rén xuān rǎng ， bù shǒu yuē shù ， zài jiā lǐ tíng bú zhù jiǎo ，

She is loud and defiant. Her feet don’t stay in her house.

有時在街市上，有時在寬闊處， 或在各巷口蹲伏，

yǒu shí zài jiē shì shàng ， yǒu shí zài kuān kuò chù ， huò zài gè xiàng kǒu dūn fú ，

Now she is in the streets, now in the squares, and lurking at every corner.

拉住那少年人，與他親嘴， 臉無羞恥對他說：

lā zhù nà shào nián rén ， yǔ tā qīn zuǐ ， liǎn wú xiū chǐ duì tā shuō ：

So she caught him, and kissed him. With an impudent face she said to him:

平安祭在我這裏， 今日才還了我所許的願。

píng ān jì zài wǒ zhè lǐ ， jīn rì cái hái le wǒ suǒ xǔ de yuàn 。

“Sacrifices of peace offerings are with me. Today I have paid my vows.

因此，我出來迎接你， 懇切求見你的面，恰巧遇見了你。

yīn cǐ ， wǒ chū lái yíng jiē nǐ ， kěn qiè qiú jiàn nǐ de miàn ， qià qiǎo yù jiàn le nǐ 。

Therefore I came out to meet you, to diligently seek your face, and I have found you.

我已經用繡花毯子 和埃及線織的花紋布鋪了我的床。

wǒ yǐ jīng yòng xiù huā tǎn zǐ hé āi jí xiàn zhī de huā wén bù pù le wǒ de chuáng 。

I have spread my couch with carpets of tapestry, with striped cloths of the yarn of Egypt.

我又用沒藥、沉香、桂皮 薰了我的榻。

wǒ yòu yòng mò yào 、 chén xiāng 、 guì pí xūn le wǒ de tà 。

I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon.

你來，我們可以飽享愛情，直到早晨； 我們可以彼此親愛歡樂。

nǐ lái ， wǒ men kě yǐ bǎo xiǎng ài qíng ， zhí dào zǎo chén ； wǒ men kě yǐ bǐ cǐ qīn ài huān lè 。

Come, let’s take our fill of loving until the morning. Let’s solace ourselves with loving.

因為我丈夫不在家，出門行遠路；

yīn wèi wǒ zhàng fu bú zài jiā ， chū mén xíng yuǎn lù ；

For my husband isn’t at home. He has gone on a long journey.

他手拿銀囊，必到月望才回家。

tā shǒu ná yín náng ， bì dào yuè wàng cái huí jiā 。

He has taken a bag of money with him. He will come home at the full moon.”

淫婦用許多巧言誘他隨從， 用諂媚的嘴逼他同行。

yín fù yòng xǔ duō qiǎo yán yòu tā suí cóng ， yòng chǎn mèi de zuǐ bī tā tóng háng 。

With persuasive words, she led him astray. With the flattering of her lips, she seduced him.

少年人立刻跟隨她，好像牛往宰殺之地； 又像愚昧人帶鎖鍊去受刑罰，

shào nián rén lì kè gēn suí tā ， hǎo xiàng niú wǎng zǎi shā zhī dì ； yòu xiàng yú mèi rén dài suǒ liàn qù shòu xíng fá ，

He followed her immediately, as an ox goes to the slaughter, as a fool stepping into a noose.

直等箭穿他的肝； 如同雀鳥急入網羅，卻不知是自喪己命。

zhí děng jiàn chuān tā de gān ； rú tóng què niǎo jí rù wǎng luó ， què bù zhī shì zì sàng jǐ mìng 。

Until an arrow strikes through his liver, as a bird hurries to the snare, and doesn’t know that it will cost his life.

眾子啊，現在要聽從我， 留心聽我口中的話。

zhòng zǐ a ， xiàn zài yào tīng cóng wǒ ， liú xīn tīng wǒ kǒu zhōng de huà 。

Now therefore, sons, listen to me. Pay attention to the words of my mouth.

你的心不可偏向淫婦的道， 不要入她的迷途。

nǐ de xīn bù kě piān xiàng yín fù de dào ， bú yào rù tā de mí tú 。

Don’t let your heart turn to her ways. Don’t go astray in her paths,

因為，被她傷害仆倒的不少； 被她殺戮的而且甚多。

yīn wèi ， bèi tā shāng hài pú dǎo de bù shǎo ； bèi tā shā lù de ér qiě shèn duō 。

for she has thrown down many wounded. Yes, all her slain are a mighty army.

她的家是在陰間之路， 下到死亡之宮。

tā de jiā shì zài yīn jiān zhī lù ， xià dào sǐ wáng zhī gōng 。

Her house is the way to Sheol, going down to the rooms of death.
