箴言 8

智慧豈不呼叫？ 聰明豈不發聲？

zhì huì qǐ bù hū jiào ？ cōng ming qǐ bù fā shēng ？

Doesn’t wisdom cry out? Doesn’t understanding raise her voice?

她在道旁高處的頂上， 在十字路口站立，

tā zài dào páng gāo chù de dǐng shàng ， zài shí zì lù kǒu zhàn lì ，

On the top of high places by the way, where the paths meet, she stands.

在城門旁，在城門口， 在城門洞，大聲說：

zài chéng mén páng ， zài chéng mén kǒu ， zài chéng mén dòng ， dà shēng shuō ：

Beside the gates, at the entry of the city, at the entry doors, she cries aloud:

眾人哪，我呼叫你們， 我向世人發聲。

zhòng rén nǎ ， wǒ hū jiào nǐ men ， wǒ xiàng shì rén fā shēng 。

“I call to you men! I send my voice to the sons of mankind.

說：愚蒙人哪，你們要會悟靈明； 愚昧人哪，你們當心裏明白。

shuō ： yú méng rén nǎ ， nǐ men yào huì wù líng míng ； yú mèi rén nǎ ， nǐ men dāng xīn lǐ míng bái 。

You simple, understand prudence! You fools, be of an understanding heart!

你們當聽，因我要說極美的話； 我張嘴要論正直的事。

nǐ men dāng tīng ， yīn wǒ yào shuō jí měi de huà ； wǒ zhāng zuǐ yào lùn zhèng zhí de shì 。

Hear, for I will speak excellent things. The opening of my lips is for right things.

我的口要發出真理； 我的嘴憎惡邪惡。

wǒ de kǒu yào fā chū zhēn lǐ ； wǒ de zuǐ zēng wù xié è 。

For my mouth speaks truth. Wickedness is an abomination to my lips.

我口中的言語都是公義， 並無彎曲乖僻。

wǒ kǒu zhōng de yán yǔ dōu shì gōng yì ， bìng wú wān qū guāi pì 。

All the words of my mouth are in righteousness. There is nothing crooked or perverse in them.

有聰明的，以為明顯， 得知識的，以為正直。

yǒu cōng ming de ， yǐ wéi míng xiǎn ， dé zhī shi de ， yǐ wéi zhèng zhí 。

They are all plain to him who understands, right to those who find knowledge.

你們當受我的教訓，不受白銀； 寧得知識，勝過黃金。

nǐ men dāng shòu wǒ de jiào xùn ， bú shòu bái yín ； níng dé zhī shi ， shèng guò huáng jīn 。

Receive my instruction rather than silver, knowledge rather than choice gold.

因為智慧比珍珠 更美； 一切可喜愛的都不足與比較。

yīn wèi zhì huì bǐ zhēn zhū gèng měi ； yí qiè kě xǐ ài de dōu bù zú yǔ bǐ jiào 。

For wisdom is better than rubies. All the things that may be desired can’t be compared to it.

我－智慧以靈明為居所， 又尋得知識和謀略。

wǒ — zhì huì yǐ líng míng wèi jū suǒ ， yòu xún dé zhī shi hé móu lüè 。

“I, wisdom, have made prudence my dwelling. Find out knowledge and discretion.

敬畏耶和華在乎恨惡邪惡； 那驕傲、狂妄，並惡道， 以及乖謬的口，都為我所恨惡。

jìng wèi yē hé huá zài hū hèn è xié è ； nà jiāo ào 、 kuáng wàng ， bìng è dào ， yǐ jí guāi miù de kǒu ， dōu wèi wǒ suǒ hèn è 。

The fear of the LORD is to hate evil. I hate pride, arrogance, the evil way, and the perverse mouth.

我有謀略和真知識； 我乃聰明，我有能力。

wǒ yǒu móu lüè hé zhēn zhī shi ； wǒ nǎi cōng ming ， wǒ yǒu néng lì 。

Counsel and sound knowledge are mine. I have understanding and power.

帝王藉我坐國位； 君王藉我定公平。

dì wáng jiè wǒ zuò guó wèi ； jūn wáng jiè wǒ dìng gōng píng 。

By me kings reign, and princes decree justice.

王子和首領， 世上一切的審判官，都是藉我掌權。

wáng zǐ hé shǒu lǐng ， shì shàng yí qiè de shěn pàn guān ， dōu shì jiè wǒ zhǎng quán 。

By me princes rule, nobles, and all the righteous rulers of the earth.

愛我的，我也愛他； 懇切尋求我的，必尋得見。

ài wǒ de ， wǒ yě ài tā ； kěn qiè xún qiú wǒ de ， bì xún dé jiàn 。

I love those who love me. Those who seek me diligently will find me.

豐富尊榮在我； 恆久的財並公義也在我。

fēng fù zūn róng zài wǒ ； héng jiǔ de cái bìng gōng yì yě zài wǒ 。

With me are riches, honor, enduring wealth, and prosperity.

我的果實勝過黃金，強如精金； 我的出產超乎高銀。

wǒ de guǒ shí shèng guò huáng jīn ， qiáng rú jīng jīn ； wǒ de chū chǎn chāo hū gāo yín 。

My fruit is better than gold, yes, than fine gold, my yield than choice silver.

我在公義的道上走， 在公平的路中行，

wǒ zài gōng yì de dào shàng zǒu ， zài gōng píng de lù zhōng háng ，

I walk in the way of righteousness, in the middle of the paths of justice,

使愛我的，承受貨財， 並充滿他們的府庫。

shǐ ài wǒ de ， chéng shòu huò cái ， bìng chōng mǎn tā men de fǔ kù 。

that I may give wealth to those who love me. I fill their treasuries.

在耶和華造化的起頭， 在太初創造萬物之先，就有了我。

zài yē hé huá zào huà de qǐ tóu ， zài tài chū chuàng zào wàn wù zhī xiān ， jiù yǒu le wǒ 。

“The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his work, before his deeds of old.

從亙古，從太初， 未有世界以前，我已被立。

cóng gèn gǔ ， cóng tài chū ， wèi yǒu shì jiè yǐ qián ， wǒ yǐ bèi lì 。

I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, before the earth existed.

沒有深淵， 沒有大水的泉源，我已生出。

méi yǒu shēn yuān ， méi yǒu dà shuǐ de quán yuán ， wǒ yǐ shēng chū 。

When there were no depths, I was born, when there were no springs abounding with water.

大山未曾奠定， 小山未有之先，我已生出。

dà shān wèi céng diàn dìng ， xiǎo shān wèi yǒu zhī xiān ， wǒ yǐ shēng chū 。

Before the mountains were settled in place, before the hills, I was born;

耶和華還沒有創造大地和田野， 並世上的土質，我已生出。

yē hé huá hái méi yǒu chuàng zào dà dì hé tián yě ， bìng shì shàng de tǔ zhì ， wǒ yǐ shēng chū 。

while as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the beginning of the dust of the world.

他立高天，我在那裏； 他在淵面的周圍，劃出圓圈。

tā lì gāo tiān ， wǒ zài nà lǐ ； tā zài yuān miàn de zhōu wéi ， huà chū yuán quān 。

When he established the heavens, I was there. When he set a circle on the surface of the deep,

上使穹蒼堅硬， 下使淵源穩固，

shàng shǐ qióng cāng jiān yìng ， xià shǐ yuān yuán wěn gù ，

when he established the clouds above, when the springs of the deep became strong,

為滄海定出界限，使水不越過他的命令， 立定大地的根基。

wèi cāng hǎi dìng chū jiè xiàn ， shǐ shuǐ bú yuè guò tā de mìng lìng ， lì dìng dà dì de gēn jī 。

when he gave to the sea its boundary, that the waters should not violate his commandment, when he marked out the foundations of the earth,

那時，我在他那裏為工師， 日日為他所喜愛， 常常在他面前踴躍，

nà shí ， wǒ zài tā nà lǐ wèi gōng shī ， rì rì wèi tā suǒ xǐ ài ， cháng cháng zài tā miàn qián yǒng yuè ，

then I was the craftsman by his side. I was a delight day by day, always rejoicing before him,

踴躍在他為人預備可住之地， 也喜悅住在世人之間。

yǒng yuè zài tā wèi rén yù bèi kě zhù zhī dì ， yě xǐ yuè zhù zài shì rén zhī jiān 。

rejoicing in his whole world. My delight was with the sons of men.

眾子啊，現在要聽從我， 因為謹守我道的，便為有福。

zhòng zǐ a ， xiàn zài yào tīng cóng wǒ ， yīn wèi jǐn shǒu wǒ dào de ， biàn wèi yǒu fú 。

“Now therefore, my sons, listen to me, for blessed are those who keep my ways.

要聽教訓就得智慧， 不可棄絕。

yào tīng jiào xùn jiù dé zhì huì ， bù kě qì jué 。

Hear instruction, and be wise. Don’t refuse it.

聽從我、日日在我門口仰望、 在我門框旁邊等候的，那人便為有福。

tīng cóng wǒ 、 rì rì zài wǒ mén kǒu yǎng wàng 、 zài wǒ mén kuàng páng biān děng hòu de ， nà rén biàn wèi yǒu fú 。

Blessed is the man who hears me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at my door posts.

因為尋得我的，就尋得生命， 也必蒙耶和華的恩惠。

yīn wèi xún dé wǒ de ， jiù xún dé shēng mìng ， yě bì méng yē hé huá de ēn huì 。

For whoever finds me finds life, and will obtain favor from the LORD.

得罪我的，卻害了自己的性命； 恨惡我的，都喜愛死亡。

dé zuì wǒ de ， què hài le zì jǐ de xìng mìng ； hèn è wǒ de ， dōu xǐ ài sǐ wáng 。

But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul. All those who hate me love death.”
