詩篇 49

萬民哪，你們都當聽這話！ 世上一切的居民，

wàn mín nǎ ， nǐ men dōu dāng tīng zhè huà ！ shì shàng yí qiè de jū mín ，

Hear this, all you peoples. Listen, all you inhabitants of the world,

無論上流下流，富足貧窮， 都當留心聽！

wú lùn shàng liú xià liú ， fù zú pín qióng ， dōu dāng liú xīn tīng ！

both low and high, rich and poor together.

我口要說智慧的言語； 我心要想通達的道理。

wǒ kǒu yào shuō zhì huì de yán yǔ ； wǒ xīn yào xiǎng tōng dá de dào lǐ 。

My mouth will speak words of wisdom. My heart will utter understanding.

我要側耳聽比喻， 用琴解謎語。

wǒ yào cè ěr tīng bǐ yù ， yòng qín jiě mí yǔ 。

I will incline my ear to a proverb. I will solve my riddle on the harp.

在患難的日子，奸惡隨我腳跟，四面環繞我， 我何必懼怕？

zài huàn nán de rì zi ， jiān è suí wǒ jiǎo gēn ， sì miàn huán rào wǒ ， wǒ hé bì jù pà ？

Why should I fear in the days of evil, when iniquity at my heels surrounds me?

那些倚仗財貨自誇錢財多的人，

nà xiē yǐ zhàng cái huò zì kuā qián cái duō de rén ，

Those who trust in their wealth, and boast in the multitude of their riches—

一個也無法贖自己的弟兄， 也不能替他將贖價給上帝，

yí gè yě wú fǎ shú zì jǐ de dì xiong ， yě bù néng tì tā jiāng shú jià gěi shén ，

none of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give God a ransom for him.

叫他長遠活着，不見朽壞； 因為贖他生命的價值極貴， 只可永遠罷休。

jiào tā cháng yuǎn huó zhe ， bú jiàn xiǔ huài ； yīn wèi shú tā shēng mìng de jià zhí jí guì ， zhī kě yǒng yuǎn bà xiū 。

For the redemption of their life is costly, no payment is ever enough,

that he should live on forever, that he should not see corruption.

他必見智慧人死， 又見愚頑人和畜類人一同滅亡， 將他們的財貨留給別人。

tā bì jiàn zhì huì rén sǐ ， yòu jiàn yú wán rén hé chù lèi rén yì tóng miè wáng ， jiāng tā men de cái huò liú gěi bié rén 。

For he sees that wise men die; likewise the fool and the senseless perish, and leave their wealth to others.

他們心裏思想： 他們的家室必永存， 住宅必留到萬代； 他們以自己的名稱自己的地。

tā men xīn lǐ sī xiǎng ： tā men de jiā shì bì yǒng cún ， zhù zhái bì liú dào wàn dài ； tā men yǐ zì jǐ de míng chēng zì jǐ de dì 。

Their inward thought is that their houses will endure forever, and their dwelling places to all generations. They name their lands after themselves.

但人居尊貴中不能長久， 如同死亡的畜類一樣。

dàn rén jū zūn guì zhōng bù néng cháng jiǔ ， rú tóng sǐ wáng de chù lèi yí yàng 。

But man, despite his riches, doesn’t endure. He is like the animals that perish.

他們行的這道本為自己的愚昧； 但他們以後的人還佩服他們的話語。（細拉）

tā men xíng de zhè dào běn wèi zì jǐ de yú mèi ； dàn tā men yǐ hòu de rén hái pèi fú tā men de huà yǔ 。 （ xì lā ）

This is the destiny of those who are foolish, and of those who approve their sayings. Selah.

他們如同羊群派定下陰間； 死亡必作他們的牧者。 到了早晨，正直人必管轄他們； 他們的美容必被陰間所滅，以致無處可存。

tā men rú tóng yáng qún pài dìng xià yīn jiān ； sǐ wáng bì zuò tā men de mù zhě 。 dào le zǎo chén ， zhèng zhí rén bì guǎn xiá tā men ； tā men de měi róng bì bèi yīn jiān suǒ miè ， yǐ zhì wú chù kě cún 。

They are appointed as a flock for Sheol. Death shall be their shepherd. The upright shall have dominion over them in the morning. Their beauty shall decay in Sheol, far from their mansion.

只是上帝必救贖我的靈魂脫離陰間的權柄， 因他必收納我。（細拉）

zhǐ shì shén bì jiù shú wǒ de líng hún tuō lí yīn jiān de quán bǐng ， yīn tā bì shōu nà wǒ 。 （ xì lā ）

But God will redeem my soul from the power of Sheol, for he will receive me. Selah.

見人發財、家室增榮的時候， 你不要懼怕；

jiàn rén fā cái 、 jiā shì zēng róng de shí hòu ， nǐ bú yào jù pà ；

Don’t be afraid when a man is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased;

因為，他死的時候甚麼也不能帶去； 他的榮耀不能隨他下去。

yīn wèi ， tā sǐ de shí hòu shén me yě bù néng dài qù ； tā de róng yào bù néng suí tā xià qù 。

for when he dies he will carry nothing away. His glory won’t descend after him.

他活着的時候，雖然自誇為有福 （你若利己，人必誇獎你）；

tā huó zhe de shí hòu ， suī rán zì kuā wèi yǒu fú （ nǐ ruò lì jǐ ， rén bì kuā jiǎng nǐ ）；

Though while he lived he blessed his soul— and men praise you when you do well for yourself—

他仍必歸到他歷代的祖宗那裏， 永不見光。

tā réng bì guī dào tā lì dài de zǔ zōng nà lǐ ， yǒng bú jiàn guāng 。

he shall go to the generation of his fathers. They shall never see the light.

人在尊貴中而不醒悟， 就如死亡的畜類一樣。

rén zài zūn guì zhōng ér bù xǐng wù ， jiù rú sǐ wáng de chù lèi yí yàng 。

A man who has riches without understanding, is like the animals that perish.
