提多書 2

但你所講的總要合乎那純正的道理。

dàn nǐ suǒ jiǎng de zǒng yào hé hū nà chún zhèng de dào lǐ 。

But say the things which fit sound doctrine,

勸老年人要有節制、端莊、自守，在信心、愛心、忍耐上都要純全無疵。

quàn lǎo nián rén yào yǒu jié zhì 、 duān zhuāng 、 zì shǒu ， zài xìn xīn 、 ài xīn 、 rěn nài shàng dōu yào chún quán wú cī 。

that older men should be temperate, sensible, sober minded, sound in faith, in love, and in perseverance,

又勸老年婦人，舉止行動要恭敬，不說讒言，不給酒作奴僕，用善道教訓人，

yòu quàn lǎo nián fù rén ， jǔ zhǐ xíng dòng yào gōng jìng ， bù shuō chán yán ， bù gěi jiǔ zuò nú pú ， yòng shàn dào jiào xùn rén ，

and that older women likewise be reverent in behavior, not slanderers nor enslaved to much wine, teachers of that which is good,

好指教少年婦人，愛丈夫，愛兒女，

hǎo zhǐ jiào shào nián fù rén ， ài zhàng fu ， ài ér nǚ ，

that they may train the young wives to love their husbands, to love their children,

謹守，貞潔，料理家務，待人有恩，順服自己的丈夫，免得上帝的道理被毀謗。

jǐn shǒu ， zhēn jié ， liào lǐ jiā wù ， dài rén yǒu ēn ， shùn fú zì jǐ de zhàng fu ， miǎn de shén de dào lǐ bèi huǐ bàng 。

to be sober minded, chaste, workers at home, kind, being in subjection to their own husbands, that God’s word may not be blasphemed.

又勸少年人要謹守。

yòu quàn shào nián rén yào jǐn shǒu 。

Likewise, exhort the younger men to be sober minded.

你自己凡事要顯出善行的榜樣；在教訓上要正直、端莊，

nǐ zì jǐ fán shì yào xiǎn chū shàn xíng de bǎng yàng ； zài jiào xùn shàng yào zhèng zhí 、 duān zhuāng ，

In all things show yourself an example of good works. In your teaching, show integrity, seriousness, incorruptibility,

言語純全，無可指責，叫那反對的人，既無處可說我們的不是，便自覺羞愧。

yán yǔ chún quán ， wú kě zhǐ zé ， jiào nà fǎn duì de rén ， jì wú chù kě shuō wǒ men de bú shì ， biàn zì jué xiū kuì 。

and soundness of speech that can’t be condemned, that he who opposes you may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say about us.

勸僕人要順服自己的主人，凡事討他的喜歡，不可頂撞他，

quàn pú rén yào shùn fú zì jǐ de zhǔ rén ， fán shì tǎo tā de xǐ huan ， bù kě dǐng zhuàng tā ，

Exhort servants to be in subjection to their own masters and to be well-pleasing in all things, not contradicting,

不可私拿東西，要顯為忠誠，以致凡事尊榮我們救主－上帝的道。

bù kě sī ná dōng xī ， yào xiǎn wèi zhōng chéng ， yǐ zhì fán shì zūn róng wǒ men jiù zhǔ — shén de dào 。

not stealing, but showing all good fidelity, that they may adorn the doctrine of God, our Savior, in all things.

因為上帝救眾人的恩典已經顯明出來，

yīn wèi shén jiù zhòng rén de ēn diǎn yǐ jīng xiǎn míng chū lái ，

For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men,

教訓我們除去不敬虔的心和世俗的情慾，在今世自守、公義、敬虔度日，

jiào xùn wǒ men chú qù bú jìng qián de xīn hé shì sú de qíng yù ， zài jīn shì zì shǒu 、 gōng yì 、 jìng qián dù rì ，

instructing us to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we would live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age;

等候所盼望的福，並等候至大的上帝和我們 救主耶穌基督的榮耀顯現。

děng hòu suǒ pàn wàng de fú ， bìng děng hòu zhì dà de shén hé wǒ men jiù zhǔ yē sū jī dū de róng yào xiǎn xiàn 。

looking for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ,

他為我們捨了自己，要贖我們脫離一切罪惡，又潔淨我們，特作自己的子民，熱心為善。

tā wèi wǒ men shè le zì jǐ ， yào shú wǒ men tuō lí yí qiè zuì è ， yòu jié jìng wǒ men ， tè zuò zì jǐ de zǐ mín ， rè xīn wèi shàn 。

who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity and purify for himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good works.

這些事你要講明，勸戒人，用各等權柄責備人；不可叫人輕看你。

zhè xiē shì nǐ yào jiǎng míng ， quàn jiè rén ， yòng gè děng quán bǐng zé bèi rén ； bù kě jiào rén qīng kàn nǐ 。

Say these things and exhort and reprove with all authority. Let no one despise you.
