箴言 15
回答柔和，使怒消退； 言語暴戾，觸動怒氣。
huí dá róu hé ， shǐ nù xiāo tuì ； yán yǔ bào lì ， chù dòng nù qì 。
A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.
智慧人的舌善發知識； 愚昧人的口吐出愚昧。
zhì huì rén de shé shàn fā zhī shi ； yú mèi rén de kǒu tǔ chū yú mèi 。
The tongue of the wise commends knowledge, but the mouths of fools gush out folly.
耶和華的眼目無處不在； 惡人善人，他都鑒察。
yē hé huá de yǎn mù wú chù bú zài ； è rén shàn rén ， tā dōu jiàn chá 。
The LORD’s eyes are everywhere, keeping watch on the evil and the good.
溫良的舌是生命樹； 乖謬的嘴使人心碎。
wēn liáng de shé shì shēng mìng shù ； guāi miù de zuǐ shǐ rén xīn suì 。
A gentle tongue is a tree of life, but deceit in it crushes the spirit.
愚妄人藐視父親的管教； 領受責備的，得着見識。
yú wàng rén miǎo shì fù qīn de guǎn jiào ； lǐng shòu zé bèi de ， dé zhe jiàn shi 。
A fool despises his father’s correction, but he who heeds reproof shows prudence.
義人家中多有財寶； 惡人得利反受擾害。
yì rén jiā zhōng duō yǒu cái bǎo ； è rén dé lì fǎn shòu rǎo hài 。
In the house of the righteous is much treasure, but the income of the wicked brings trouble.
智慧人的嘴播揚知識； 愚昧人的心並不如此。
zhì huì rén de zuǐ bō yáng zhī shi ； yú mèi rén de xīn bìng bù rú cǐ 。
The lips of the wise spread knowledge; not so with the heart of fools.
惡人獻祭，為耶和華所憎惡； 正直人祈禱，為他所喜悅。
è rén xiàn jì ， wèi yē hé huá suǒ zēng wù ； zhèng zhí rén qí dǎo ， wèi tā suǒ xǐ yuè 。
The sacrifice made by the wicked is an abomination to the LORD, but the prayer of the upright is his delight.
惡人的道路，為耶和華所憎惡； 追求公義的，為他所喜愛。
è rén de dào lù ， wèi yē hé huá suǒ zēng wù ； zhuī qiú gōng yì de ， wèi tā suǒ xǐ ài 。
The way of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD, but he loves him who follows after righteousness.
捨棄正路的，必受嚴刑； 恨惡責備的，必致死亡。
shè qì zhèng lù de ， bì shòu yán xíng ； hèn è zé bèi de ， bì zhì sǐ wáng 。
There is stern discipline for one who forsakes the way. Whoever hates reproof shall die.
陰間和滅亡尚在耶和華眼前， 何況世人的心呢？
yīn jiān hé miè wáng shàng zài yē hé huá yǎn qián ， hé kuàng shì rén de xīn ne ？
Sheol and Abaddon are before the LORD— how much more then the hearts of the children of men!
褻慢人不愛受責備； 他也不就近智慧人。
xiè màn rén bú ài shòu zé bèi ； tā yě bú jiù jìn zhì huì rén 。
A scoffer doesn’t love to be reproved; he will not go to the wise.
心中喜樂，面帶笑容； 心裏憂愁，靈被損傷。
xīn zhōng xǐ lè ， miàn dài xiào róng ； xīn lǐ yōu chóu ， líng bèi sǔn shāng 。
A glad heart makes a cheerful face, but an aching heart breaks the spirit.
聰明人心求知識； 愚昧人口吃愚昧。
cōng ming rén xīn qiú zhī shi ； yú mèi rén kǒu chī yú mèi 。
The heart of one who has understanding seeks knowledge, but the mouths of fools feed on folly.
困苦人的日子都是愁苦； 心中歡暢的，常享豐筵。
kùn kǔ rén de rì zi dōu shì chóu kǔ ； xīn zhōng huān chàng de ， cháng xiǎng fēng yán 。
All the days of the afflicted are wretched, but one who has a cheerful heart enjoys a continual feast.
少有財寶，敬畏耶和華， 強如多有財寶，煩亂不安。
shǎo yǒu cái bǎo ， jìng wèi yē hé huá ， qiáng rú duō yǒu cái bǎo ， fán luàn bù ān 。
Better is little, with the fear of the LORD, than great treasure with trouble.
吃素菜，彼此相愛， 強如吃肥牛，彼此相恨。
chī sù cài ， bǐ cǐ xiāng ài ， qiáng rú chī féi niú ， bǐ cǐ xiāng hèn 。
Better is a dinner of herbs, where love is, than a fattened calf with hatred.
暴怒的人挑啟爭端； 忍怒的人止息紛爭。
bào nù de rén tiāo qǐ zhēng duān ； rěn nù de rén zhǐ xī fēn zhēng 。
A wrathful man stirs up contention, but one who is slow to anger appeases strife.
懶惰人的道像荊棘的籬笆； 正直人的路是平坦的大道。
lǎn duò rén de dào xiàng jīng jí de lí bā ； zhèng zhí rén de lù shì píng tǎn de dà dào 。
The way of the sluggard is like a thorn patch, but the path of the upright is a highway.
智慧子使父親喜樂； 愚昧人藐視母親。
zhì huì zǐ shǐ fù qīn xǐ lè ； yú mèi rén miǎo shì mǔ qīn 。
A wise son makes a father glad, but a foolish man despises his mother.
無知的人以愚妄為樂； 聰明的人按正直而行。
wú zhī de rén yǐ yú wàng wéi lè ； cōng ming de rén àn zhèng zhí ér xíng 。
Folly is joy to one who is void of wisdom, but a man of understanding keeps his way straight.
不先商議，所謀無效； 謀士眾多，所謀乃成。
bù xiān shāng yì ， suǒ móu wú xiào ； móu shì zhòng duō ， suǒ móu nǎi chéng 。
Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established.
口善應對，自覺喜樂； 話合其時，何等美好。
kǒu shàn yìng duì ， zì jué xǐ lè ； huà hé qí shí ， hé děng měi hǎo 。
Joy comes to a man with the reply of his mouth. How good is a word at the right time!
智慧人從生命的道上升， 使他遠離在下的陰間。
zhì huì rén cóng shēng mìng de dào shàng shēng ， shǐ tā yuǎn lí zài xià de yīn jiān 。
The path of life leads upward for the wise, to keep him from going downward to Sheol.
耶和華必拆毀驕傲人的家， 卻要立定寡婦的地界。
yē hé huá bì chāi huǐ jiāo ào rén de jiā ， què yào lì dìng guǎ fù de dì jiè 。
The LORD will uproot the house of the proud, but he will keep the widow’s borders intact.
惡謀為耶和華所憎惡； 良言乃為純淨。
è móu wèi yē hé huá suǒ zēng wù ； liáng yán nǎi wèi chún jìng 。
The LORD detests the thoughts of the wicked, but the thoughts of the pure are pleasing.
貪戀財利的，擾害己家； 恨惡賄賂的，必得存活。
tān liàn cái lì de ， rǎo hài jǐ jiā ； hèn è huì lù de ， bì dé cún huó 。
He who is greedy for gain troubles his own house, but he who hates bribes will live.
義人的心，思量如何回答； 惡人的口吐出惡言。
yì rén de xīn ， sī liang rú hé huí dá ； è rén de kǒu tǔ chū è yán 。
The heart of the righteous weighs answers, but the mouth of the wicked gushes out evil.
耶和華遠離惡人， 卻聽義人的禱告。
yē hé huá yuǎn lí è rén ， què tīng yì rén de dǎo gào 。
The LORD is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayer of the righteous.
眼有光，使心喜樂； 好信息，使骨滋潤。
yǎn yǒu guāng ， shǐ xīn xǐ lè ； hǎo xìn xī ， shǐ gǔ zī rùn 。
The light of the eyes rejoices the heart. Good news gives health to the bones.
聽從生命責備的， 必常在智慧人中。
tīng cóng shēng mìng zé bèi de ， bì cháng zài zhì huì rén zhōng 。
The ear that listens to reproof lives, and will be at home among the wise.
棄絕管教的，輕看自己的生命； 聽從責備的，卻得智慧。
qì jué guǎn jiào de ， qīng kàn zì jǐ de shēng mìng ； tīng cóng zé bèi de ， què dé zhì huì 。
He who refuses correction despises his own soul, but he who listens to reproof gets understanding.
敬畏耶和華是智慧的訓誨； 尊榮以前，必有謙卑。
jìng wèi yē hé huá shì zhì huì de xùn huì ； zūn róng yǐ qián ， bì yǒu qiān bēi 。
The fear of the LORD teaches wisdom. Before honor is humility.
